Welcome to Kiiminki!
Kiiminki is a rapidly growing and youthful municipality in the economic region of Oulu. In 1970 Kiiminki’s population was only about 2 800, but by January 2006 the population had grown into 12 108. Each year our municipality gets some 300 new inhabitants.
Our goal in Kiiminki is to provide quality services and facilities to all inhabitants and to help companies operate successfully in our region.
In order to make Kiiminki a pleasant environment both for living and for working we need the contribution of all our citizens. You are all welcome to improve, succeed and feel at home with us.
